Temperament relates to general well-being, or mindset, and ultimately, physical health. As thoughts trigger hormones, various chemical messengers, and other inflammatory responses, one could say the temperament is the ground out of which a figure arises, where the figure is the physical body. The litany of secretions that are generated in response to constant mental activity influences both the generation and the degeneration of the physical body.

Feelings are a natural part of the human experience. Thoughts are precipitated by our feelings and emotions, even when we are not aware of our feelings.
When one is unwell, having developed a chronic ailment, the origins of any emotional distress were often overridden and forgotten long ago. Angst, fear, anxiety, shock, delusional beliefs or simple worry may have been playing themselves out for generations. Somewhere along the timeline of human history and the deep dive into science and evidence-based therapies, the body got separated from our feelings and thoughts, yet these critically important, but ignored sentiments are still fundamental to health and wellness.
Our use of the term “MindBody” is to remind us that these two constructs-MIND and BODY- are truly one and the same, in the sense that the bi-directional flow of influence is constant and all-pervasive between the two. When we balance our thoughts, we change our physical being. When we nullify our negative thinking, and naturally return to a content state of mind, our entire self can then become well.

Why & How Does It Work?
Why “MBTB” Works
Nature-based remedies like MBTB homeopathics are very different from conventional medical and psychological interventions, which typically address the surface manifestations (or symptoms) of conditions, not the origins. In fact, most conventional medical practices do not acknowledge or address the connection between your body and mind, which includes emotions, thoughts, perceptions, self-perceptions, and memories. Unfortunately, this disconnect (or dis-integration) is actually the root of many health challenges and conditions.
Our MBTB homeopathic program will help you reintegrate all parts of yourself (and your natural intelligence) and, thus, enable you to feel more whole, more complete, more content, and more in control of your health, mental health, and wellness.
How “MBTB” Works
THE BASICS
Each complete cycle of the MBTB process includes three four-week rounds of different homeopathic medicines. This program supports gentle yet significant personal change that deserves respect and continuity of care. With MBTB, you collaborate with one of our naturopathic doctors to plan and actively participate in an intervention that combines taking a non-pharmaceutical medicine and reflecting upon daily experiences inspired and stimulated by that medicine. You will engage in the following activities:
Answer specific questions for the Options’ physician to choose your individualized remedies. These may come in the form of a questionnaire if you are not an active patient or if your Options physician is seeking further information outside of a visit.
Orally ingest (dissolve directly in the mouth) homeopathic pellets once per day for five days, if your individual suggestions include onboarding remedies.
Then, orally ingest (dissolve directly in the mouth) homeopathic pellets once per week to complete a 12-week cycle. Sundays are the suggested day to take your weekly MBTB remedy as this is an ideal day for rest, rejuvenation and resetting systems. Sundays also stand apart from the rest of the week and may help us to remember, but if another day works for you this is absolutely fine.
Optional repetition or revision at the end of each cycle with another visit or questionnaire to continue removing any residual unwanted thoughts, behaviors or symptoms. Most individuals notice relief during these first 90-days, but if even the mildest of symptoms remain, we suggest continuing for another round. A commitment to complete the process with a possible adjustment to the selected remedies can potentially resolve long standing issues.

Homeopathy | The Basics
Homeopathy has its roots in ancient nature-based cultures whose healers identified and utilized plants, minerals, and animal substances as medicines. Healers administered these remedies to stimulate the body and mind of patients to collaborate and allow the bodily systems to do its work. In 1796, a German physician named Samuel Hahnemann conceived homeopathy as we know it today.
Homeopathic medicines are made from natural substances, such as plants, minerals, and animal substances. A homeopathic doctor (or pharmacist) combines the specific starting material with a solution of alcohol and water (if water-soluble), or lactose (if insoluble), to create a dilution. A vigorous process of shaking or pounding, called succussion, extracts the essence of the substance and, essentially, reduces it to its purest potential. This pure potential is transferred onto the pellet form for oral ingestion.
The number and scale of dilutions determine the various strengths, or potencies, of homeopathic medicines. The 6C through 12C potencies are gentle and ideal for home use. A 30C potency is optimal for more severe symptoms or injuries. The 1M, 10M and higher potencies are the most subtle, and thus, in the realm of homeopathy, the most potent.

Here is another analogy. Your MindBody is like a guitar string that has an original, natural frequency. Life experiences and your reactions to those experiences hit that string over and over and cling to it and knot it up and shift it to a different vibration, which, perhaps, may feel out-of-tune and not natural. Homeopathic medicine is like a tuning fork which carries the original vibration of your body-mind.
When you ingest the homeopathic pellet, you essentially bring that tuning fork into the room and into the guitar.
