Understand Your Roots

In addition to our routine lab reviews, we offer a multitude of specialty testing to understand your terrain on a deeper level.

We offer tests from Dutch Labs, Mosaic Diagnostics, Quicksilver, and PCI so you can test for toxicants (like mold or RoundUp!), hormones, blood testing, microbiome, parasites, and much more.

All tests are sent out from your home with blood, stool, or urine samples. Get a better understanding of your health!

Tests will need to be reviewed by our providers during your follow-up consult. If you are not a patient, you may purchase one of these tests and have an initial visit with us to review them.

Toxicant Testing

Mosaic Diagnostics

Every day, we are exposed to hundreds of toxic chemicals through products like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, packaged foods, household products, and environmental pollution.  As we have become more exposed to chemical-laden products and to toxic chemicals in food, air, and water, we have been confronted with an accelerating rate of chronic illnesses like cancer, heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, chemical sensitivity, autism spectrum disorders, ADD/AD(H)D, autoimmune disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.

MycoTox

This test is specific to mold exposure. Mycotoxins are some of the most prevalent toxins in the environment. Mycotoxins are metabolites produced by fungi like mold, which can infest buildings, vehicles, and foodstuffs.   A majority of mycotoxin exposures are through food ingestion or airborne exposure.

Glyphosate

Glyphosate is the world’s most widely produced herbicide and is the primary toxic chemical in Roundup™, as well as in many other herbicides. In addition, it is a broad-spectrum herbicide that is used in more than 700 different products from agriculture and forestry to home use.

Organic Acid Test (OAT)

The full report includes markers for Krebs Cycle abnormalities, neurotransmitter levels,
nutritional deficiencies, antioxidant deficiencies, yeast and
Clostridia overgrowth, fatty acid metabolism, oxalate levels,
and more.

Tox Kit

This tests for a toxic non-metal chemical profile that screens for the presence of 173 different toxic chemicals including organophosphate pesticides, phthalates, benzene, xylene, vinyl chloride, pyrethroid insecticides, acrylamide, perchlorate, diphenyl phosphate, ethylene oxide, acrylonitrile, and more.

Heavy Metals Testing

Quicksilver Scientific

Blood Metals Panel

This test screens for 16 metals – a broad range of nutrient and toxic metals to show elevated exposures to toxic metals or imbalances of nutrient metals in whole blood.

Nutrient Elements: Calcium, Copper, Lithium, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Selenium, Zinc

Potentially Toxic Elements: Antimony, Arsenic, Cadmium, Cobalt, Lead, Mercury, Silver, Strontium

Mercury Tri-Test

This test screens for toxic levels of mercury in the blood.

Mercury is extremely toxic in most forms and can be absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes, and its vapors can be inhaled. Modern-day medicinal applications have caused dangerous levels of mercury in children and adults. Furthermore, mercury can enter the human body through the consumption of contaminated fish that swim in mercury-polluted waters.

BiomeFx Microbiome Analysis Test

BiomeFx analyzes over 25 pathogens and measures their relative abundance as a percentage of your entire microbiome. This is different from traditional stool tests looking for any detectable number of pathogens present. While it isn’t uncommon to have a small number of pathogens present in your microbiome, the relative abundance in proportion to your other bacteria is what’s important. A strong microbiome is equipped with both strong competition among species and resilient keystone strains to maintain a healthy environment. This healthy competition is just one of the factors that helps to keep pathogens in check.

PCI: Full GI Panel

Full GI Panel consists of a Comprehensive Stool Analysis (CSA) and our Swab Culture. The combination of these two tests provides full coverage screening of all intestinal pathogens and is recommended for anyone experiencing GI symptoms. The CSA provides a detailed analysis of all intestinal parasites (Protozoa, Trematodes, Tapeworms, Nematodes) from all 7 continents as well as other intestinal organisms including Candida, yeast, and other fungi.

Food Intolerance Evaluation (FIE)

This test is an old naturopathic method of evaluating an individual’s dietary compatibilities. It is a way to determine which foods are not well digested. Poorly digested food creates “toxemia” in the intestines. Toxemia is a by-product of poor or incomplete digestion and creates inflammation. The intolerance elimination diet addresses AND eliminates the cause of dietary toxemia. When we remove the cause of toxemia, inflammation is reduced and no longer blocks the body’s inherent ability to heal.
