Dr. Patrick Healey

Patrick Healey was born and raised in California before his family moved back to Ohio. His mother had a strong appreciation for healthier living leading to a significant influence on young Patrick. This especially came to light during his teenage years when he took an interest in natural health and began to optimize his sports performance. While studying Pre-Physical Therapy and Exercise Science in college at Baldwin-Wallace University, he realized that he wanted to do more than just work with muscles, bones and joints; he wanted to work with the whole person – inside and out. In his last years at the university, he came across naturopathic medical school which was a perfect fit for his passions and interests.

Graduating from one of the few accredited naturopathic medical schools, the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), he developed special interests in sleep, digestion, cardiovascular issues, men’s health, chronic illness, physical and mental fitness, and wellness support for all ages. With a passion for educating individuals in the principles and foundations of naturopathy and proper living, he is able to support patients with the most effective and least harmful therapies in order to stimulate vitality.

His philosophy is that the human body is the most amazing, complex, and intricately designed work of art. He believes it has the innate ability to heal itself when given the right stimulus and proper environment.

Practicing this philosophy, he works to support and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes by using gentle, yet effective, therapies. Therapies that include nutrition, botanicals, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, lifestyle modification, physical medicine, and more. He is thrilled to be a part of the Options team, where these interests can take hold and grow to serve the needs of those seeking traditional, natural medicine.

Dr. Patrick is a volunteer member of the Naturopathic Medicine Institute and a member of the Ohio Naturopathic Doctor Association (OHNDA).
